During the process of moving all my artworks out of the studio where I had worked for two years, I began transporting them piece by piece, first to my workplace, then home. It was a walk I had done a thousand times over those years, but there was a deep nostalgia in carrying the last piece out.
I decided to photograph that final painting in various places along the familiar route, sometimes with different people, capturing moments of transition and reflection. Through these photographs, the painting became more than an object—it became a companion.
Now, these images hold more meaning for me than the painting itself. The work has lived a fuller life, having interacted with the city the same way I had. It walked the same streets, met people, and witnessed change.
